My Brother's Keeper

District 75’s My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Program is a transformative initiative dedicated to improving life outcomes for boys and young men of color, while supporting all students in reaching their full potential. Grounded in equity, empowerment, and community, the program provides mentorship, leadership opportunities, and culturally responsive support across our specialized school settings.

In alignment with the citywide MBK mission, District 75’s program focuses on building strong, trusting relationships between students and adult mentors, fostering academic achievement, and preparing students for success in college, career, and beyond. Through workshops, student-led events, peer mentoring, and family engagement, MBK promotes confidence, identity, and purpose.

Our vision is to create a nurturing environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to lead,  both in school and in life.
