My Sister's Keeper

Our Mission:
To create a supportive sisterhood that empowers girls and young women in District 75 to lead with purpose, learn with confidence, and lift each other up.

Empowering Young Women Across District 75

My Sister’s Keeper (MSK) is a transformative initiative in District 75 that focuses on nurturing, empowering, and uplifting young women and girls with disabilities. Grounded in the belief that every student deserves a space to feel seen, heard, and valued, MSK provides mentorship, sisterhood, and leadership opportunities that promote confidence, academic growth, and social-emotional development.

Through culturally responsive programming, community-building events, and intentional guidance, MSK fosters safe, inclusive spaces where students can explore their identities, build resilience, and strengthen their voices. Our program encourages young women to support one another, celebrate their individuality, and pursue their fullest potential — both inside and outside the classroom.

District 75's MSK chapters meet regularly across schools to engage in meaningful conversations, creative expression, and collaborative projects. With a strong focus on equity and representation, MSK also works to connect students with women leaders from diverse backgrounds, offering real-world role models and inspiration.
