NYC DISABILITY PRIDE PARADE
The theme is a dynamic “throwback through time,”where students, families, educators, and advocates from across NYC will honor disability through history, advocacy, and celebration.
The parade will spotlight the past, present, and future of disability culture and inclusion. Each parade block will represent a unique era or theme, such as celebrating disability, advocacy, the1960s Civil Rights movement, 1970s adaptive sports, or 1980s Paralympic breakthroughs.
